The re-release of Fritz Lang's Metropolis is currently playing in US arthouses. It will be in my city in January - I'll be seeing it more than once when it arrives.
I have seen it for two times now on video and it really is amazing!
The music, the pictures - it`s DAMN great artwork.
Wish I had a bigger TV... *lol*

...to seek out the new re-release. It has restored scenes (although the original had still more footage, which is believed to be probably lost) that bring it a little closer to what Metropolis originally was, instead of the Metropolis most of us know.
I have seen THIS ONE. I have it on video. It`s the 2002-Version. It came on German TV a few weeks ago. You are lazy in the US. *lol*
