No answer. Even he left me know... Time to watch the American Beauty.

But I was silent, because I did not see it ! Even with my ( sometimes ) fertile imagination I could comment on this one.
And NO, you will NOT go back to the A. Beauty !
The great fake of the 90īs.
Salo, is waiting for me...I will let pass the first of 2003, and then go back to action with this one...
Take it easy, and take your time. But try to find Beau Travail, as it IS interesting. Some people, of course, had found it boring and slow.In some respects, the pace, the deliberate internal conflict of it reminded me of another "strange" film: Passion in the Desert. You must remember that one, about the strange friendship between the leopard and lost Napoleon soldier. Mesmerizing. Strangely, its director also has just made one film.
I try hard, but could NOT find any copy of " Le beau travail " ! Wanadoo fr. who is one of the best search engine in France was to no use....
Passion, I remember so vaguely, but so vaguely....But it was something fascinating....
Beating Patrick to a French film, imagine that!I dunno Patrick, Amazon shows one available for just 30 Euro.
And the Passion in the Desert... - I just bought a tape on Amazon... $6.70 in like new condition, eat your heart out! GREAT film! Of course, it only scored 6 out of 10 on IMDB.com, no surprise.
Also, as I was ordering it, Amazon suggested that those who bought that film also bought... the Lord of the Ring... something is not right there in this world.
I found out that this film is coming on video in France*, but...I just bought it ( in french ) at...Amazon UK ! In three days I will have it !
I am very sad that your pleasure did not hold for long...

You will have to endure my comment on this one, and now that I know that you are waiting for, be prepared for a very long comment......
