If it's not to personal, did you grow up in Mother Russia or move to the US when you were young...the film does depict a very important part of Russia's history and it's easy to see why it would move one...I feel this way when I watch films depicting the American Civil War, especially the movies Gettysburg and Gods and Generals...the courage, suffering and fortitude of our ancestors is truly awesome and inspiring...people were willing to die for their beliefs.

I moved to the US in 1979, when I was 29. Does that make me young then? :-)
Since we were both born in 50' I think we'd both agree 29 is young.
