is shipping today to me, anyone seen this yet? The previews caught my attention and I ordered it from Netflix.
Follow Ups:
I saw it at the local "arthouse" theater--Angelika Film Center in Plano several months ago.I like "period" pieces--hence the initial attraction.
I found the movie a little slow going during the first half.
However, I found the last portion of the movie (I'm guessing the last 20 or perhaps 30 minutes) absolutely riveting! It really picked up and was spellbinding. That's just me.
And I actually there is a good "moral" to be learned from the movie (but maybe I'm reading too much between the film frames . . .)
And Al Pacino, I think he has aged very well as an actor, he was outstanding in this movie.
enjoy it, townsend
