First off, I sat through it! (I’d rather watch grass grow than something boring) so this little freaky film kept me interested.
I'm a strange one, I don’t mind watching rockets blow up a truckload of terrorist puppets, but I do mind all the south park language and ridicules sexual scenes, so the thought of these writers to including a golden shower troubles me. They have to know that kids love animated things jumping all around, yet they toss in a bunch of stuff that most adults are not interested in watching. Not saying there were not a couple funny scenes.
They are funny, just a little too raunchy.
Follow Ups:
I watched it last night and thought it sucked (pardon the pun). I did get a few laughs from it, but I had some pretty great expectaions which not only were not fulfilled, but trashed. After seeing the previews and talking to a South Park fan when it first came out, I thought it had to be funny but it was just stupid. Some of the gags like the F.A.G. was funny and the opening scene where the dorks blow-up the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre in order to kill four terrorists while expecting praise and support from the French people. The rest was "dumber than a bucket of hammers" while still managing a few slap-stick moments of simply disgusting puppeteering. I wasted $4.25 renting it and nearly two hours watching it.
