  As a big, lovable, slightly eccentric guy....until the end. Overall, I think it was good PR (intentional or unintentional) for him as there was more screen time showing him being affable than psycho. It has the kind of dangerous slant film puts on historical characters by changing the light upon which they are judged.

    I did have a history professor point out that although Hitler did many bad things, he did bring Germany back from the largest inflation rate in the history of mankind and from high unemployment levels following WWI.

      Way Too few Charlie Chaplins in history and way too many Caligulas, Hitlers, Stalins + Maos for my liking
