Kate Winslet looked beautiful.
The sets and costumes were fab.
Sophisticated storytelling it was not.

It is a point concerning prejudice, which affects all of us.
The last Brazilian movie I saw was a documentary about kidnapping, the name escapes me, which was quite a fascinating subject, albeit a rather pedestrian talking head documentary.
Especially if it was plodding, boring and an hour longer than it should have been. :-)
BTW, I thought Avatar was a half hour longer than it should have been and had a very weak and cliched story line. It was technically superb but I have no desire to see it again.
