I really liked everything else about this movie, the cast, the acting, the subtle and believable dialogue, even the sets and the music all draw you in.

I do not know what else I would have liked in the story but it just was not my choice.

        I did give an answer. If you read all the posts I wrote then you will got it.
        Now if my daughter was 16 and intelligent and mentally ripe, I would have nothing again her mating a 35 years old male.
        In fact I NEVER interfered with my two daughter loves live.
        I kept an eye on it, but I was trusting them both.
        Love and trust you see.

        age of consent varies from state to state. It's still pretty young in a lot of states.
        
        Don't forget you are addressing many Americans here, and traditionally Americans are intrinsically against all things relating to sex. If it could be avoided in procreation, they would just outlaw the whole practice. Puritan heritage and all that.

        Don´t worry I know and I always smile at that kind of approach, but every one has his own choice, as long " they " don´t impose their views on me...
        
        But more people are sophisticated the less they are afraid of sex...
        Ask Bambi B. Ask Harmonia ( a woman, the only one here ) and many others and you will see they don´t pretend to hide behind a false reality.
