...not everyone's cup of tea but I really enjoyed it and thought it was a lot of fun.
Then there's Dunkirk which all the critics have raved about but which no one here seems to like.
I didn't like Atomic Blond either. (At least I saw it in one of those theaters with the large leather recliners!) If I want to see Charlize in the future, I'm going to stick to my blu-ray of Aeon Flux!
...don't know how you can prefer Aeon Flux, but different strokes.
mkuller- Thanks for your reply. I can understand "Baby Driver" being seen as "a lot of fun" and I'm glad you enjoyed the film.I kept thinking about the lineage of where "Baby ..." came from. Tarantino? Maybe "Pulp Fiction"?
I remember how entertaining and groundbreaking Pulp Fiction was when I first saw it.
I also compared "soulmates" Baby and Deborah to Mickey and Mallory in NBK. There was such a void of sexual chemistry between Baby and Deborah - it almost seemed strange to see them kissing.
Have a great day! -Jim

...some reviewers referenced Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs.
I agree Baby and Deborah's relationship was weak point but that was ok.
...but my son loved Baby Driver and told me I had to see it.
My daughter loved Dunkirk and told me I had to see it.
I'm going to skip both since they wouldn't go with me to see Atomic Blonde.

...I'm a cranky old fart.
Still want to see Atomic Blonde.

reelsmith - Thanks for your comment. I can understand a young man totally enjoying "Baby Driver".
When we were walking home discussing the film I asked my girlfriend "am I getting too old to enjoy current state of cinema?"
Thankfully she said "no"! ha ha
Have a great day- Jim
