  HD DVD exclusive.
  This is remastered, with the special effects completely redone. These will also be combo discs. No SD DVD.
  It'll probably sell on Amazon for about $160. Even so, I'm going to have to pass on this.

  I don't know about this set. Yeah, I'd like to collect Star Trek but dang it, they want too much. But I guess there's enough hardcore Trekkies to justify the price.

    I guess this makes me a "Casual Trekkie": I like it in the same way I like "Gilligan's Island" (now THERE's a thought for high-def)
