It was perfect for me and my 3 friends.. The story, production, and Denzel were more human this time, and there was plenty of getting the badguys without much gratuitous violence.. FWIW, I give Eq1 5 stars and Eq2 4.

We'll definitely see it again.

BTW we saw it in a huge Harkins theater with Dolby Atmos on the west side of Phoenix.. All 4 of us FELT some of the explosions. :-)

Were the explosions you felt in the movie or in the theater? Nt, posted on September 1, 2023 at 07:15:39

I was most impressed by the nuance in his overall performance. He was so human! I watched EQ2 on Prime to compare and the current Robert McCall is a bit more world-weary to me and ready to start over.

This was the end but I would like to see a new closer based on his quiet and calm life in Sicily.

(Dakota was a poor choice.)

Fuqua delivered.

Saw it again last nite; it was at least as enjoyable as the first viewing. (NT), posted on September 14, 2023 at 11:30:01
