This has been billed as "the ultimate sports movie." The characters were just cardboard. The dialogue was about junior-high level. The racing scenes were nicely filmed, but it looked artificial compared to Grand Prix (1966), also not a great movie but more entertaining than this one.

When I saw Javier Bardem "acting" by smiling and doing a thumbs-up, I wqas done.

I liked it a lot. Sure, Brad was too OLD to be any kind of race driver, but it was a movie and an extension of NF's 'Drive To . . " series. It was made for people who don't follow racing or stay glued to the F1 Channel and brought a date. It was kind of a '70s or '80s flick.

Guess that makes it a pos?

Or a POS and A1 a pos?

Race car video does that to me.
