If you like 50's Sci-fi this new remaster is spectacular. The picture quality is amazing. They got Ben Burtt (sound engineer from Star Wars) to do the 5.1 channel sound re-mix.

Lots of extras including one on the making of the original movie, one on the re-master, and the complete Orson Welles WOTW broadcast.

For science fiction fans this is a real treat.

WotW is one of my top ten favorite movies of all time. I agree, the new Criterion release is amazing.

Should have made a science fiction epic instead of a 'dysfunctional father' drama.

Boy, you hit that nail squarely on its head.

Could not agree more.

Wonder how much of the failure was Cruise's input? "More gravitas, Steve!" nt, posted on October 30, 2020 at 06:30:11
