with a biting, cruel edge to the satire. Through Episode 2, it's n a s t y, but a fun watch. HBO Max.

I look forward to the next episode, but that might be more an indicator of my mental state than the quality of the show.

I guess if they had billed it as a light hearted soap opera instead of a comedy I would have a more congenial outlook about the product., but I still have hope.

I have to admit when I heard stiflers mom was in the thing, I was in. That women somehow steals a lot of scenes, as if the other actors were no more than just mood lighting.

agree, I find it diverting..., posted on July 24, 2021 at 10:03:41

but hardly exciting. A bunch of people with various problems at a beautiful resort...a few minor laughs here and there, no real drama so far, some good character actors being eccentric...light summer entertainment and there is nothing wrong with that. It's a grand advertisement for the resort in Maui where it was filmed...other than that, I don't think I'll remember it for long.

I hope it gets better, posted on July 26, 2021 at 06:38:46

I'll give it one more episode and if it doesn't set the hook, I'm done.

So far it's pretty boring.

I find more of the characters irritating and annoying than interesting.

Dean.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
