 They NO LONGER award based on ACTING performance but rather pushing some "woke" agenda! LOL... At least the Academy didn't bend to giving the Best Actress award to a POC....Instead they glorified a stylized thinly veiled porn film and awarded the star! I don't think that it is possible for Hollywood to degenerate any further than it already has... What is next? Disney produced kiddie porn?!?!?! Walt Disney would be mortified to see what has happened to his vision, dreams and corporation!

You just noticed Hollywood has LITTLE to do with reality and most (not all)
of what they have produced for over 100 years panders to the lowest common
denominator, questionable taste and and a hoped for large profit margin?

Now, THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT!

The Oscars have been a big inside joke for decades.

Now they are a particularly big DULL, boring as hell inside joke.

 LOL! I should have known that YOU would like that trash! The only thing I will have positive to say about the film is that it had an interesting look to the film AND the costumes were interesting as well. As far as Hollywood goes, it produced quality product up until the mid 90's it has been a swift road into the abyss since then.... The Oscars have sucked since Hope and Carson vacated hosting...

 It's a brilliant film on many levels and certainly worth rewatching
just for the set designs and camera work.

Not to mention continuing to try sorting out Willem Dafoes' face!

 You haven't perceived the depth of the film. You missed subjects that included God, innocence, and free will. Maybe it wasn't for you, but you sound a bit silly--IMHO--in your description of the film.

It's an artform, doh.
