If I took a Surround receiver bought in the US to India, would 60Hz be an issue?

I understand I would need a voltage convertor, but as there are no moving parts, maybe the cycles (60 Hz in US, 50 Hz in India) wouldn't be an issue?

Then there's the plug of course..

Would the video system matter if any analog cables were used such as component or composite?

Many power transformers are designed to be used at 50 or 60 Hz. It may say on the back of the receiver.
