She is great, she and Lupino were trailblazers. All that said I really just don't like the feel of early talkies nor do I like many films from the 30's. The stars we're good or better often but supporting cast were bad. I also liked these films less the second viewing Still can't take anything away from Barbara. One of my all time favs.
