This "inspirational' film had a "regular" film feel to it. The actors and dialogue was realistic for a group of football guys goofing off and going fishing in the Gulf off Tampa Bay. Eight hours into their fishing, they were hit by an explosive and long-lasting storm that immediately capsized the boat and left them struggling to cling to it as they bobbed hour after hour. Lives were lost, but then the persistence of the Coast Guard commander prevailed. At this point, they jerked my tears. They had set the stage and played it for what it was worth and got me to well up with joy and appreciation of something higher than myself.
Not everyone's tea but if it is cable should have it shortly.
