Rivette... easier to know of him than his films

Thanks for bringing up his name - I'll make a list and take it to our shop, perhaps they have something there. I suspect I only saw his segment in the Lumiere, which I might revisit in the meantime.

He is quite obscure here.

You are gonna be watching a GHOST STORY? From there it might be an easy slide towards the LOTR. I can see the decay start.
