"Chronically Unfeasible," a blistering, searing, angry, impassioned,

and brutal assault on developed society, from Brazil.
Sergio Bianchi's seven-year old film makes Bunuel's social satires seem benign.
This film isn't just rage: it's an extremely clever skewering of (mainly) middle-class morés. However, revolutionaries in their turn get to taste Bianchi's skepticism and cynicism.
The story loosely follows the journey of a young man from the relatively well-off south of Brazil who travels to Sao Paulo (the world's second largest city) in search of greater opportunities.
He eventually finds employment at an upscale restaurant.
If "Best in Show" found your favor, this film's quirky cast of characters, ingenious twists, and directorial skill equally will please you.
But make no mistake: Bianchi is deadly serious about his hatred and contempt for a society wherein people dining on fine food voice contempt for those who are forced to rummage through garbage cans only feet from the diners' well-appointed table.
