Bergman´s Saraband, or another boring, intellectual film whoes seemingly never will end...

How, but how can anybody think, feel that way?
Is it possible?

Each tableau, a suit of a dance for couples, is a feast.
It is also the purest form of incest brought up in a film, well at least I never saw one analysing this better!
Even if it is only a part of it, even a BIG part here, it is morally very courageous to bring this theme this way up.
A very stative film, and no doubt, more theatre than movie.
The actors, well beyond any critic, so let skip that.
Bergman struggle for faith, for “ Grace “ is omnipresent.
