Antonioni's "Red Desert"

Finally tracked this one down, and watched it over the past two nights. Certainly one of the more difficult Antonioni films I've seen, it's sort of like he's trying to mentally wear you down for 2 hours.
This is one that takes a while to sink in. I have a feeling I'll be watching it again later, if only to see Vitti...
Anybody else have any feelings about this one?
