This is unmissable for fans of any of the music known as Krautrock or even metal or industrial and punk... it's hard to know where to stop!
It's the story of 5 lads from America who didn't change the world.
5 serviceman in Germany who stayed on and set up a band taken under the influence of some German advertising men who turned them into something like The Velvet Underground 5 years too early.
I won't go into ore details because it's a story worth hearing in its entirety.
The end excludes some pretty sad details which I learned from the director, Deitmar Post, who was there, and which really are not for this film about the dreams of youth and what could have been.
Post told me that the DVD will be released if and when he raises enough money to buy the international rights to the music.
He's short about $50,000US as I understand it.
Otherwise it might be German Film Festivals only.
