I disagree...

...I thought it was one of the best films of the year.

It was like I was watching history take place - being transported to Buckingham Palace, Balmoral Castle, etc. - it was so realistic with Mirren's excellent performance anchoring the events around Diana's death and the questionable behavior of the Royal Family.

I found the depiction of Tony Blair was fascinating and I'm not really a history buff.
