but a co-worker of mine at the last place I worked edited it... quite a bit of it while I was still there (he'd been Tarsem's main editor for a while and edited The Cell). I've worked with Tarsem before... and he's not averse to using some digital shenanigans but you are correct... the work done was to the filmed footage not footage created artificially.
Tarsem would finance the film by doing commercials and he'd convince whatever ad agency that he needed to film commercial "x" in such and such a location and while there he'd film bits for the movie. It was virtually self financed and it was a long process."You can safely assume you have created God in your own image when he hates all the same people you do."
