TV drama, today, that rivals the best films of today?

I can't disagree since I don't see all that much. Every time I get some DVD of a well-thought of HBO or other miniseries, I am disappointed. I'm entertained, mind you, but I always feel I could have been watching something better.
NO offense meant. It's my taste. I feel that way about reading, too.
