...a terrific popcorn movie, pure adrenaline, lots of action with a few laughs.

Keanu Reeves playing against type as a tightly wound, hard drinking, rogue cop.

And the LA Police Chief is played by...Daryl Gates!

The ending is telegraphed way too early and Reeves seems to be able to dodge bullets here just like Neo did.

But it's very entertaining - a solid B - highly recommended.
