...a terrific popcorn movie, pure adrenaline, lots of action, good plot twists, with a few laughs.
Keanu Reeves playing against type as a tightly wound, hard drinking, rogue cop.
And the LA Police Chief is played by...Daryl Gates!
The ending is telegraphed way too early and Reeves seems to be able to dodge bullets here just like Neo did.
But it's very entertaining - a solid B - highly recommended.

    It was a good, entertaining flick with plenty of twists. I noticed how Reeves was almost "evil" in the beginning and slowly, scene-by-scene, became more redeemable.
    
    When I see Reeves now I can't help but think of him, Foster, Spacey and how they are never shown anywhere with the opposite sex. Also, Keanu is starting to show the thickness of age. He's about done his "youthful" roles.

      Lovely scene with daughter's girlfriend-- tough subject to handle and done with taste.
