I thought it was worth adopting a couple of years ago, when there was a much more limited selection of titles and players. Since then it has definitely hit critical mass with significant films and even music selections. And if you have an HDTV, there is really no other way to enjoy native 1080p content so one can argue you're not realizing your HDTV investment without Blu-ray.
