Anyone seen an advance screening of True Grit?

You'd have to be blind and deaf not to notice any of the hoopla about the Coen Bros. upcoming release of their new project "True Grit". I've seen the John Wayne version a few times and even caught "Rooster Cogburn" on cable television a time or two. They're not substantial movies but harmless enough for sitting down with a bowl of popcorn and a Diet Pepsi to pass a couple of idle hours.
After reading the NYT review on the movie, I took the writer's suggestion and found a copy of the book at the local library. It's a fast read being more of a novella than a novel. The book is definitely time well spent with, to use a cliche, wonderful language that I hadn't found in the fiction I've read for the last few years.
If the Coen Bros. did right by the novel, I expect a cinematic treat.
