Home Films/DVD Asylum

Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

I'll agree, that last episode wasn't any way special.

I don't know what you've seen Vic, but to be fair, these episodes are sequential. The current builds on what went prior. To see them as stand-alone periods takes away the context. I don't know if if your opinion would be different, but I think you might like the series better if you saw all (3 so far) in sequence. I can't speak to how real all of it could be, but its been entetaining as a whole.

I think its a lot better than standard television fare, which is why I called it out here.

Movies always have the great advantage over television series. The writers don't have to script for hour-long containment, and they usually have a full story with conclusion to work with. Television writers may start off well, but mid-season find themselves without a destination or know how much time they have to get to it. Audience can't always be there every week to follow, so sooner otr later, everyone loses the story. On the flip side, we can always change the channel. If stuck with a turkey in a theater or renting a cd, we're just out of luck.

All that said, I think the series has merit. But I said series, not casual drop in viewing.
