Neither - I was merely trying to state . . .

. . .that some of the artiste-narrator's assertions seemed like glib conceits to me (and I thought to you too, based on your OP). Still, the movie is interesting enough that I don't want to give him too hard a time. But while I'm thinking about it, he should have included more than the single brief excerpt from "Mulholland Drive" - maybe he doesn't know what to make of David Lynch's offerings. ;-)
