Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

"American Sniper:" strictly by-the-numbers filmmaking. Cooper is very good, but nothing especially revelatory

about a military/super-patriot. There just isn't much to the guy; he's one-dimensional. You've seen it all before, it's Trite City. The guy who ignores his family because of his "service." The long-suffering wife who stands by her man. The action scenes: you've seen them before. The bad guys? One-dimensional as anything in a Schwartzenegger film.
And it's provocative for the director to highlight one line, "I'm ready to stand before my Creator and answer for every shot I've taken." Really? What "creator" would that be… certainly not Jesus.

And someone needs to buy Sienna a meal. Yet another of the "who-can-look-skinnier" group of American actresses. Anorexia isn't attractive.
Budapest? Original story. Brilliant acting; Fiennes is an individual with a love of life and others that is infectious; supporting cast is excellent, with the always superb F. Murray Abraham in fine form. Norton and Murray: better than in their other recent efforts, too.
Humorous, w/out resorting to infantile scatology: is that what some hear cannot appreciate?
