Dheepan, a French movie about Sri Lankan immigrants, won the top honor the Palme d'Or at the Cannes film festival.

The jury led by Joel and Ethan Coen chose the Hungarian Holocaust Drama Son of Saul for the runner up Grand Prix prize. (There is a prospective Oscar winner for next year)

When will we get to see these I wonder.
