A rather obscure (I was not able to find it on imdb through the title search, only by checking the actress' filmography) German film takes you about as far away as you can get, while still being able to speak English.

Nina Hoss is good, as usual, and the whole cast is colorful, the sense of doom is inescapable as it should be in that kind of a movie.

For some adventure lovers this might be too quiet, it is more melancholic than brutal, but liked that mixed sense of hope and desperation.
