Rear - Floorstander or mini-monitor

I posted once but did see any concrete advise. So here goes again.
It's better to have floor-stander or mini-monitor for the rear? Keeping in mind that with floor-stander, it's not exactly an (easy) option to raise the rear speaker height with bracket.
