Just watched my first movie on my new Panny xp-30 progressive into a 32" digital-ready HD panasonic. VERY impressive. I had bought Ice Age from a video store and neither my Sony 7000 or Pioneer 525 would read it, but the Panny came through with flying colors. Used the analog outputs into a Ymaha 2092 and was also impressed with the sound for an inexpensive DVD. If you can find one, get it.
