Many people go to the manufacturer's website and get a picture and specs to post on the auction. This is good information, though in my opinion one should go look that stuff up anyways before you buyt anything. Sometime they will show the data for a similar model instead of the actual model.

It is always better when the actual product is used. I usually email the seller and ask for better pictures if I'm not sure. Some places sell so much stuff that they don't mess around with actual pictures because it would be impossible.
