THX is not a process or a 'sound' it is simply a marketing ploy that manufacturers have to buy into in order for it to get "THX" certification logo.It's is supposed to be able to make it easy for a consumer to find all the necessary pieces of equipment and match them together. If you have all THX certified components, you are getting the best possible sound....... BS!
Don't be missled by the BS, if you are using quality equipment, THAT is what matters.
