Sorry about my mistake about the 27AF43 not having the Color Temperature Control. The Canadian site seems more current although I haven't checked the US site since they could't give me the information I requested last month. I guess the specs apply to both countries.
The two features that I thought might contribute to definition were the Vertical Contour Correction and the Dynamic Quadruple Focus that are apparently absent in the 27AF43. They were originally touted as very important. I am interested in playing DVDs.
But the proof is in the pudding, if the 27AF43 appears to have as good a picture as the 27AF42 then it does and the two features I was concerned with must not be worth anything after all.
