The upcoming HD2+ chips IMO will NOT be the Holy Grail, Improved CR from 1500 to 2500 will be small in a DLP. The new HLP Sammy have a soft picture compared to the older HLN sets, some like, some do not. I am getting a Sony 60" GWIII this week. Had a new Sammy HLN 5065, died after 3 weeks, Sony has probably the best SD pic over other LCDs and especially over the Sammy DLPs. Considered the 60XBR but the protective screen is just to reflective for our room.

P.S. Local B&M is matching an online price, just hit the right store at end of month, Mgr. needs extra $$$$ so he gets his monthly bonus.

I had a Hitachi 50V500 for another 3 weeks(loaner) sucks IMO and color and looks are cheesy IMO. I am in on the Sammy powerbuy at AVS for the Sammy 61", If Sony craps out will return and go with PB.

Good luck.
