Go with DVI to DVI.

I have no first hand experience with HDMI but I've read somewhere (maybe here on AA) that some DVI to HDMI cables have problems.

For audio, you can run the RCA's from your HD Tuner to your audio setup. If you have an A/V receiver or processor with digital input, the optical or coaxial out from your HD Tuner can be used to carry the audio signal - and you will sometimes get Dolby Digital 5.1 encoded HD broadcasts for nice 5.1 channel surround effects. If that's not important to you, using just the main L & R channel RCA's is fine.
