No. First off, this is only a monitor, meaning that it has no digital tuner installed, just an analog one for standard cable. You will have to supply an external source, such as a HD cable box, satellite receiver, or over the air (with antenna) tuner unit.

Then you would use the component inputs, like you would be connecting a DVD player. The audio would go to the L/R line level inputs of the set, but also the external units usually have coaxial/optical outputs, which your will send to a HT processor or receiver, for 5.1 surround sound>
