Want a projector, where do I begin

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

I want to get a good overhead/front projector like a DLP etc.. I dont know squat about this technology or any of the options, I do know I want to source it with component video (25ft run), hdmi is not an option. I want to spend about 4k for the projector and the screen (used is ok), I was hoping for a minimum of 80" of real good high def. I would be sitting 15' back from the screen in a pretty darkroom. Any recommendations of options or places to research this stuff would be greatly appreciated.
