I have no interest in the audio portion of HDMI, at least at present. For example, it will not yet carry MCH SACD. Consequently, I prefer to keep the audio and video separate and use a programmable remote to switch them in synchrony most of the time or not (so I can watch a football game while listening to music).Kal
