I have this exact combination your referring to. I'm currently utilizing an Adcom GFP750 (with a processor bypass switch) as well as my Adcom GFA5800 amp and Yamaha RXV3200 receiver. I'm using the Yamaha as a processor and to drive my center and rear channels and with a push of a button I can be listening to two channel music without compromise, however I do get some noise from my TV cable which of course is the dreaded 60cycle hum and my amp is not very fogiving as it amplifies that as well. Otherwise, it's the best of both worlds.
