RE: Best deal for direct tv?

I've been a Direct TV subscriber for some years. I recently added their neat HR 20-700HD DVR and moved my TiVo HR10-250 to another system. IIRC the cost was $200. Installation of a new 5 LBN dish and lots of tweeking were included. My mother has cable here in Santa Barbara and a Scientific Atlanta 8300 HD DVR that I have played with quite a bit in setting it up and helping her learn how to use it. IMO the HR20-700 is much easier to use than the SA 8300, and HD service on Direct TV is superior to the local cable. HD picture quality is about the same with her 37" Sharp Aquas and our 40" Sony monitor. Bottom line: I don't hesitate to recommend Direct TV.
