With the *possible* exception of the PS3, none of the current BD players have the required hardware to do Video 1.1. AFAIK, they cannot be upgraded. Its possible, that the PS3 may be upgradeable via firmware. Another example of why BD is just the PS3 format.

Edit: Its funny how the BDA has been rather quite about this. A lot of people are going to be pissed, having to buy an all new players if they want some of the extras.
