Warner is screwy...as for "new latest'n greatest version", that is hardly specific to blu-ray

CDs, DVDs, vinyl and every other format if it's around long enough, has reissues featuring "new and improved" content. The fifth element BD remaster is an earlier example of this on blu-ray.

I got my promo copy of 300 last night from Warner Home Video. No reason to get another one unless maybe they make a BD50 using a better codec.
