If I didn't have this thing for lossless audio and almost perfect video, there would be a lot of Warner and Universal HD DVDs I might take a look at. As it is, I'm holding out for remastered Blu-ray versions which may never appear...

"Transformers" had the best video I've seen on HD DVD but other than the special effects, the movie really sucks. The audio could have been better despite the "perfect" (?) scores it's gotten from some reviewers.

I'm not given much of choice on which 5/10 movies to pick up but free is free.
